About Altrek

Altrek Industries Ltd is a locally owned and operated fiberglass bathtub and shower manufacturer in Alberta, Canada. Altrek bathtubs and showers are made with a gel-coat surface and reinforced with heavy-duty fiberglass providing a sanitary, uninterrupted, smooth surface. The additional reinforcing and contouring provides our product with supplementary strength and durability. Only the highest quality materials are used in the manufacturing of our products.

In 1986, Robert Rourke's dreams came true when Altrek's doors opened in Okotoks, just outside of Calgary, Alberta. Bob, his wife Rose and their first two employees began their vision in this small manufacturing building. Through years of hard work and dedication, Altrek Canada, still located in Okotoks, has expanded and developed to 4 buildings and over 30 employees. For over 20 years Altrek has remained a family owned and operated business that takes great pride in ensuring top quality control and participation in all aspects of the business. Robert & Rose's children, Amanda & Brad, value their parents' commitment and vision of a family owned and operated company and are now actively involved with Altrek. Amanda and Brad take great pride in Altrek and are following the standards set out by their parents and continue to ensure that the highest production standards, quality control and customer service are being achieved and maintained.

At Altrek, our highest priority is our customer service. Due to the competitive nature of our economy and being that Altrek is a local business, our primary objective is to maintain optimal relations with all key stakeholders and continue to go above and beyond what our competition has to offer. Altrek would not be where it is today without its faithful customers and understands that customer referrals are the key to our success because of this we offer our customers a personalized experience in hopes of providing services above the rest. Altrek's products are distributed throughout Alberta, Eastern British Columbia and Saskachewan by our valued plumbing wholesalers. We pride ourselves on the efficiency of our product-manufacturing department, as products are able to go through the entire production line and are ready for delivery within a couple days. This is accomplished by our most valuable asset - our employees. Altrek employees are highly valued and highly skilled fiberglass technicians cumulatively having over 100 years of experience with Altrek.

We thrive for continuity and to be innovative in this ever-evolving marketplace to insure that we're continually expanding our product line to meet the diverse and ever expanding needs of our customers.
